Datafuse API Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Datafuse API ("API") provided by Datafuse ("Company," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using the API, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the API.

1. API Access and Usage

1.1 Registration and API Key

To access and use the API, you must create an account on the Datafuse App and generate a unique API key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for any activities or actions that occur using your API key.

1.2 Authorized Use

You may only use the API in accordance with these Terms and for the purpose of integrating the API with your applications, services, or platforms. You shall not use the API for any illegal, unauthorized, or malicious activities.

1.3 Usage Limitations

We may impose certain limitations on your use of the API, including but not limited to request quotas, rate limits, and access restrictions. These limitations may be based on factors such as account type, subscription level, or API usage history.

2. API License

2.1 Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the API solely for the purpose of integrating it with your applications, services, or platforms.

2.2 Intellectual Property

The API and all associated intellectual property rights are and will remain the exclusive property of the Company. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use the Company's trademarks, logos, or other brand elements.

2.3 Restrictions

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you shall not: (a) modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the API; (b) copy, distribute, or sublicense the API; (c) use the API to develop a competing service or product; or (d) remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels on the API.

3. Data Privacy

3.1 Data Collection and Usage

By using the API, you acknowledge and agree that we may collect and process certain data, including but not limited to API usage data and user information. We will handle and process such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3.2 User Data Protection

If your use of the API involves the processing of personal data of end-users, you are solely responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws, obtaining necessary consents, and protecting the privacy rights of the end-users.

4. Support and Maintenance

4.1 Technical Support

We may provide technical support or documentation to assist you with the integration of the API. However, we are not obligated to provide any specific level of support, and any support provided is on an "as-is" basis.

4.2 Modifications and Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the API or any part thereof at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, interruption, or discontinuation of the API.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the API, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
